JL, also known as Janine, is a mother of four incredible kids, a wife, a professional tech nerd, and an all-around pretty boring human. If it weren't for her collection of romantic, fantasy, and dark romance books, her life would be 50 shades of beige.

Wolf Walkers is her first foray into writing romantasy and has been a labor of love. The idea bounced around in her brain for more than a year before she decided that it was time to get typing. Less than a year after that, Wolf Walkers: The Ambassador was scheduled for production, and here we are.

Writing has already begun on the next book in the series, tentatively called Wolf Walkers: The Goddess. Production and release updates for that book will be posted as they are scheduled.

Stay tuned for more!

Praise

From start to finish, this book kept me glued to the pages. The mystery surrounding the rival pack’s plot was so well done, and the slow-burn romance between Ellie and Bo felt incredibly genuine. I loved how Ellie navigated her new reality—she was strong and capable without being overly “perfect.” Highly recommend for fans of fantasy and romance!

I really liked how the fantasy didn’t overshadow the real, human side of the story. Ellie’s reactions felt believable, and the mix of mystery and just-right romantic tension kept me engaged the whole time.

I really enjoyed the fresh twist of having a human ambassador in a werewolf world—it made the story feel unique. The mix of slow-building romance and suspenseful politics kept me completely engaged the whole way through.
